Zip Puzzle Grid Sizes

Pick the board size that fits your pace, from quick 6x6 warmups to full 12x12 expert routes.

Choosing a Grid Size

Smaller Zip grids are better for learning forced moves, corner handling, and how walls shape a route. Larger grids reward patience because a single early turn can decide whether the final path has enough room to cover every cell.

If you are new to Zip, start with 6x6 puzzles. If the daily puzzle feels too short, move to 8x8 or 10x10. The 12x12 board is best once you are comfortable planning the full path before you draw.
