Daily number path challenge from July 15, 2026.
Some cells in a Zip puzzle have only one possible way to be reached. If an empty cell is surrounded by walls on three sides, or bordered by visited cells on all but one side, the path must enter it from that single remaining direction. These are called forced moves, and skilled players scan for them constantly. Every time you place a segment of the path, re-check the surrounding cells to see if any new forced moves appeared. On a curated 6×6 grid, there are usually several forced moves at the start that chain together. Finding them turns a puzzle that looks complex into a series of small, obvious steps. The daily Zip puzzle is the same for everyone — see if you can spot more forced moves than your friends.
Archive puzzle #196 is a Wednesday 6x6 Zip challenge. Use this replay to practice short forced moves near numbered cells, watch for crossing into a corner before the path is ready, and aim for a relaxed archive replay.
